Our Vision, Mission, and Beliefs
Vision
The Seaman United Presbyterian Church is a church of all people, all inclusive without regard to the various societal labels placed on people. We have open doors to all who seek to worship with God's family, who seek spiritual guidance and encouragement, and who wish to serve the Lord and our area community.
Mission
To provide faith leadership and support in our congregation and surrounding community. To joyfully worship and witness for Jesus Christ through our ministry and missions.

Our Beliefs
Denominations often differ in the sacraments recognized. Seaman United Presbyterian recognizes two sacraments, Baptism and The Lord's Supper. These sacraments enact and seal what the Word proclaims: God's redeeming grace offered to all people. They are at once God's gift of grace, God's means of grace, and God's call to respond to that grace.
The Lord's Supper is the sign and seal of our communion with the crucified and risen Lord. Through the Lord's Supper, Jesus Christ nourishes us in righteousness, faithfulness, and discipleship. The opportunity to eat and drink with Christ is not a right bestowed upon the worthy, but a privilege given to the undeserving who come in faith, repentance, and love. Communion is performed every calendar quarter at the Seaman Presbyterian Church.

Baptism is the sign and seal of our incorporation into Jesus Christ. Through Baptism, Jesus Christ calls us to repentance, faithfulness, and discipleship. Through Baptism, the Holy Spirit gives the Church its identity and commissions the Church for service in the world. The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) recognizes all baptisms by other Christian churches that are administered with water and performed in the name of the triune God--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
